I recently stumbled on your blog and just loved it! My wife and I are doing the return Bergen/Kirkenes/Bergen trip on the MS Nordkapp in December this year.
We are in our 60s and from Australia. We have been to Europe in winter 7 times already (I have family in Holland) but never as far north as Norway.
I loved you writing style – especial the tale of the lost hat… I laughed and laughed!
Your blog is really informative as well and we also appreciate that you included the phonetic spelling of the place names.
